Lara Logan, an experienced reporter for CBS 60 Minutes in the Middle East, told a meeting of the Better Government Association in Chicago that Americans are being misled by the Obama administration, and she fears for the future of our policies and allies in the war zones.

Logan even called for retribution for the recent terrorist killings of Christopher Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya, and three other officials. The event is a harbinger of our vulnerability, she said. Logan hopes that America will “exact revenge and let the world know that the United States will not be attacked on its own soil. That its ambassadors will not be murdered, and that the United States will not stand by and do nothing about it.”

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney offered a similar, tough foreign policy message at Virginia Military Institute this morning. It appears that the country already is looking to Romney for leadership in the Middle East – hope the Novemeber 6th election gives him his chance to reform America’s broken Middle East policies.
