A lively crowd of New Trier Township voters met Sunday night in Wheeling for their annual Dinneree celebration where they heard from politicians – most of whom do not have New Trier constituents. Rep. Adam Kinzinger (IL 11th), Illinois Treasurer (and gubernatorial candidate) Dan Rutherford, and Rep. Bob Dold (IL 10th) were the featured speakers. Tim Wolfe, who has shown a profile of courage in taking on radical-liberal Jan Schakowsky in the newly constituted 9th District (Winnetka, Wilmette, Kenilworth, Northfield, Glenview and most of Glencoe) gave the Pledge of Allegiance.

After winning the endorsement of the Chicago Tribune, Wolfe jump-started his campaign with new support from many 9th District voters, who expressed horror at the idea of representation by the most partisan Democrat in the U.S. Congress. The Tim Wolfe for Congress campaign already has added radio advertisements on conservative shows including Mark Levin on WLS 890. This Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., Wolfe is holding a meet and greet fundraiser at Little Ricky’s restaurant in Winnetka.
